After entering the Grammy’s in 1965 for the song “I Wanna Hold Your Hand,” The Beatles have found themselves back 60 years later for their final song, “Now and Then”, published in 2023. Going against music artists such as Beyoncé, Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift, and Chappell Roan, “Now and Then” was written and recorded by John Lennon in 1978 but ultimately the project was scrapped and sadly he passed away two years later in a shooting.
In 1995, the remaining three Beatles continued the song in honor of John’s passing. After Harrison passed away in 2001 due to cancer, the song remained unfinished until 2023 when Ringo Starr and Sir Paul McCartney finished the song using AI technology to bring back the amazing vocals of Harrison and Lennon. The Beatles’ second Grammy award is for Best Rock Performance which is also for the song “Now and Then”.
