Not only is N.A.H.S. welcoming new students but teachers as well. Ms. Popolo is one of them; she is an undergraduate from Bloomsburg University and is currently getting her Masters from William Paterson University. She studied special education, elementary education, social studies, language arts, and high school English. Before joining the faculty of N.A.H.S., Ms. Popolo taught at Lenape Meadows in Mahwah and at Forum School in Waldwick, New Jersey. Ms. Popolo became a teacher because her cousin is autistic. Her cousin’s learning disability inspired her to pursue the field of special education. Ms.Popolo also enjoys interacting with her students and watching them learn and grow. When asked about her expectations for this school year, she said, “To learn and grow as an individual and a professional, and to meet and teach a new group of students at North Arlington High school!” Welcome to N.A. Ms. Popolo.
