As you all may know, Mrs. Hughes is a beloved English teacher here at North Arlington High School. Mrs. Hughes has been teaching at our school since 1993. Growing up, she went to Queen of Peace High School and then she attended Fairleigh Dickinson University. She enjoys working out, spending time with her three boys, and gardening.

She stated, “If I could have any job in the world, I would want to be a writer.” She is actually in the process of publishing her own book! When I asked Mrs. Hughes if there was something that people would be surprised to know about her, she explained that she has a twin sister and she married her high school sweetheart. Also, Mrs. Hughes would someday love to visit Australia with her family. All and all, she always hopes the best for all of her students.
