This is Mrs. Rosen – William’s 7th year teaching at North Arlington High School. Her offered courses include Anatomy and Physiology, Exploring the Animal Kingdom, and Introduction to Environmental Science. She majored in Zoology in college, and has recently completed her Master’s degree at William Patterson University.
She says that she comes from a long line of teachers, so her love for science is shared with her family. Mrs. Rosen shared with me that she is extremely family – oriented, and has recently returned from maternity leave after having her son Liam, who is now 6 months old.
As many of the seniors taking her Anatomy and Physiology class know, Mrs. Rosen loves anything that is the color purple, and frequently writes in purple ink. Her favorite television shows are American Horror Story, The Walking Dead, and Modern Family. Her favorite book is Carrie by Stephen King. She would like in the future to bring an addition to her family and adopt a dog from a shelter.
As a student in Mrs. Rosen’s Exploring the Animal Kingdom class, she has certainly piqued my interest in the sciences and I look forward to being able to take her Anatomy and Physiology class as an elective in the 12th grade.
