There is no question that Hollywood likes to make movies that are based off of Video Games. For the first time, the car racing game, “Need for Speed” is being put into the big screen. And there is no doubt that many fans of the video game will be anticipating this movie. The fact that Aaron Paul, who is one of the main characters in Breaking Bad, is the main actor in this movie, should persuade audience members to go and see how the movie will turn out to be. Although video game movies aren’t as great as one would expect, we are still willing to give Need for Speed a chance. So how was the movie overall?

Need for Speed surprisingly isn’t awful, but it isn’t anything remarkable either. To the film’s credit, the car chase scenes look incredible and Aaron Paul was very good in the movie. The performances were overall decent, and car racing scenes were spectacular. For that reason alone, I would say that it is worth seeing on the big screen. Fans of the video game will definitely have a blast watching this movie, and they won’t be disappointed.
