For the past three years, The George Miller Art Show has been held in the North Arlington Public Library. This year, the art show will be held on April 5.
The show is a tribute to George Miller who taught art in the high school for over 25 years. He showed great support and admiration for NAHS student artists and their creative work. He also contributed to the entire community and inspired us all. The organizers Andrea Jennings and Daniel Marck stated, “We want to ensure that George Miller’s legacy lives on. That is why we have created the George Miller Arts Scholarship – a way to affirm and encourage today’s NAHS artists just as Mr. Miller did years ago.”
Some new features this year include guests being able to bid on artwork created by the 5th grade students and “the original artwork program” where families will be able to order items with their children’s artwork on it.
This year three scholarship prizes for high school seniors will be awarded for outstanding artwork. The entire community is invited to attend the show!
