After a long and fun year, the child care graduating class said good-bye to their fellow high school teachers on May 3rd, 2012. The graduation took place in the child development classroom of North Arlington High School. Many parents attended this event and children who participated in it were excited about beginning their new journey into kindergarten! Ms. Dempsey, the child development class teacher, presented a slide show to the parents showing all of the improvements every child made throughout the year. Ms. Dempsey said, “The Preschool graduation was a great success. It was very nice seeing my child development students, my preschoolers and their families come together and celebrate.” Mr. Manuppelli also attended this lovely graduation ceremony as well as Ms. Rosolen.
The ceremony ended with the child care children receiving their diplomas and graduation hats made by the child care high school students. They sang their favorite songs; “Days of the Week” and “Special Me” with Ms. Dempsey’s help and had a blast! The children smiled for the camera as their parents took pictures of the class and said good-bye to everyone who helped out that morning. All the best to the young graduates!
