For the upcoming George Miller Art Show on April 4, 2013, Ms. Dujack is in the process of collecting the student’s artwork. This art show is open to all North Arlington students grades 4-12 and the selected artwork from the students will be exhibited at the North Arlington Public Library for one month. Since school started, students who are in art classes have been working on their paintings, drawings, sculptures, etc. to prepare for this upcoming opportunity to showcase their artistic talent.
Ms. DuJack stated that this Art Show will be a great opportunity for seniors to win some scholarship money. According to Ms. DuJack, about 17 seniors’ artworks will be sent out to the George Miller Art Show and if they want, they can sell their artwork to the guests who are interested. So far, senior artists who are displaying their artworks are: Amanda Ortiz, Angelina Tedesco, Alex Jakiel, Amy Lin, Anastasia Rhem, Ahram Jeong, Brittany Schalago, Danielle Mulholland, Eileen Gonzales, Efren Ferreyra, Ethel Ruiz, Justin Ortiz, Karly Tylenda, Keanna Rosado, Kiana Ortega, Lyndsey Frank, and Natalie Cassano.
