The Skate and Surf Festival will be taking place at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey on May 18th and 19th. This festival includes plenty of bands and music groups playing on several stages. This is one of the biggest concerts for our state of NJ, besides the Vans Warped Tour in the summer.

Headlining bands for Saturday, May 18th are Fall Out Boy, coming off their hiatus and a new album release, Timeflies, Streetlight Manifesto, Of Mice and Men, Andrew W.K. and Lights. Headlining bands for Sunday, the 19th include, A Day to Remember, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Glassjaw, Rx Bandits, Bayside, and Saves the Day.

This festival will bring a huge crowd, ranging from all people around the tri-state area, as well as other parts of the country. With new pop artists like Macklemore and Ryan Lewis playing, it will sure bring in a different fan base, because most artists playing are rock based bands.
