On Friday, April 25th, students from North Arlington High School’s English and Sociology classes had the unique opportunity to meet with author Siobhan Vivian. The meeting was facilitated by school media specialist, Ellen Bratowicz through the Project Pride grants program of the North Arlington Education Association. In addition, the North Arlington Woman’s Club and the Friends of the Library made donations of books for the students. Mrs. Tracey Hughes, Mrs. Tracey Turano and Mrs. Annette Ingannamorte were happy to have their classes participate in the discussion by the author which described the writing process, becoming published and also book themes. Students gobbled up the titles at the end of the session. Siobhan invited students to email her with any questions regarding becoming a writer or about her own books and characters.
