In today’s technology-centered world, it is easier than ever to use your iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad to keep connected to the classroom and get ahead with schoolwork. Listed below are a few popular apps students use to do just that.
Edmodo

It acts as a bridge-builder for students and teachers and allows them to easily communicate outside of school. Users have the ability to connect the app to existing Edmodo features such as their profiles and badges. The creators of Edmodo describe the app as a “catalyst for far more rapid innovation” in the field of online education.
Access My Library School Edition

The Access My Library School Edition app allows you to select your school and enter a password unique to your school’s library. By doing this, you gain a copious amount of knowledge through you school’s library or media center. It offers complete works full of reliable information from various sources. This makes it perfect to find reference information for research papers or projects. The app is powered by Gale Cenage Learning, the database used in our own North Arlington High School Media Center. Mrs. Bratowicz would be proud!
Khan Academy
