This week in football will produce some very great games. First up, we have the (7-3) Philadelphia Eagles taking on the (2-8) Tennessee Titans. This game will easily be won by the Eagles because let’s face it, the Titans are terrible. Their run defense is ranked 31st in the league, next to last. The Eagles running back, Lesean McCoy, should have no problem with rushing for more than 200 yards. Eagles quarterback, Mark Sanchez, will have to battle the Titans pass defense though since they are ranked 9th in the league.
So, the Eagles should win this game by a score of 34-20.
Next up, we have the (9-1) Arizona Cardinals, who have the best record in the NFL, vs. the (6-4) Seattle Seahawks, who are the reigning Super Bowl champions. The Seahawks have been inconsistent throughout the whole season on offense and defense. Since their defense is not the dominant force (it was last year) and their whole team has been inconsistent on both sides of the ball, I give this win to the Cardinals just because of their recent wins over highly competitive teams, the score will be 27-21.
Last but not least, we have the (7-3) Detroit Lions facing the (8-2) New England Patriots. Don’t let the records fool you; this game will be a blowout. Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady, has been playing out of his mind lately, throwing about 3 or 4 touchdowns a game. Now, with a healthy Rob Gronkowski, the Patriots should crush the Lions. The Lions lost a sloppy game last week to the Cardinals, 14-6, while the Patriots beat a very good Indianapolis Colts team 42-20. So, I’ll give the win to the Patriots 37-23.
