On Sunday, the NFC and AFC Playoffs decided who will be in the Super Bowl. The two teams are the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks came back from a 19-7 deficit to beat the Green Bay Packers in overtime, 28-22. The Patriots, on the other hand, had a fairly easy night as they demolished the Indianapolis Colts 45-7. So, with that being said, “Who will win the Superbowl?”
The Patriots have quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick who have won three Superbowls together. The Seahawks have quarterback Russell Wilson and head coach Pete Carroll who won the Superbowl last year – Wilson’s second season in the NFL. Patriots’ fans haven’t seen a Superbowl trophy since their Spy-gate scandal in 2007 while Seahawks fans are looking for a repeat of their Superbowl season last year. Judging by the high-powered offense of the Patriots and the stingy “Legion of Boom” defense of the Seahawks, this is shaping up to be a memorable Superbowl. Can the Patriots, who haven’t won a Superbowl in a decade, beat the highly-talented and youthful Seahawks? We will find out on February 1st.
