Over the past few weeks, the NFL has seen major moves and blockbuster deals come and go. It’s safe to say that some teams have been victorious and others haven’t. Teams such as the Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, and Indianapolis Colts have made questionable, yet highly favorable moves. The Eagles traded running back, LeSean McCoy for linebacker, Kiko Alonso, providing the Bills with a strong backfield presence and the Eagles with some much needed defensive help.
The Eagles also traded quarterback, Nick Foles to the St. Louis Rams in exchange for quarterback, Sam Bradford, giving each team one solid signal caller. The Eagles also signed the most highly coveted and talented running back in the league, DeMarco Murray, who gained over 1,800 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns last season with the Dallas Cowboys. The Colts brought in wide receiver, Andre Johnson from the Houston Texans, running back, Frank Gore from the San Francisco 49ers, and defensive lineman/linebacker, Trent Cole from the Eagles.
All of these teams have brought talented players to their respective organizations. Each team sought improvements and wanted to make their teams better before the Draft and the upcoming season. I wouldn’t be surprised if more big names find new teams to play for in the upcoming weeks. This just proves that in the NFL, anyone can be traded or signed at any given time.
