This year North Arlington high school seniors went to Baltimore, Maryland. This year’s seniors were very excited for their trip. The drive to Baltimore was 4 hours long. When they arrived, seniors first went to the National Aquarium where they enjoyed the dolphin show. After the aquarium, seniors went to Pizza Uno followed by a ghost tour of Baltimore’s haunted areas. The tour was terrifying and interesting.
The next day, seniors got up nice and early and headed over to Camden Yards – home of the Baltimore Orioles. They got a tour of the entire stadium and even got to sit in the dugout! Coincidentally, the Orioles were celebrating the park’s 20th anniversary. The USS Constellation was their next stop. Students took a tour of the entire ship and learned to draw the sails. Next to last on the itinerary was the Maryland Science Center – that too was educational and exciting.
Finally, the next morning, all of the seniors packed their belongings and headed to Six Flags. Even though it was raining, all of the seniors got to go on every ride. It seemed as if the seniors had the whole park to themselves! Although all of the students were soaked afterwards, it was all worth it. The class of 2012 had an awesome time in Baltimore and will always cherish those memories.
