For most, the start of fall means brainstorming ideas for Halloween costumes and carving pumpkins. However, for a select few, the season brings a very new and exciting prospect: the Homecoming dance! As the students of the senior class begin finishing their College entry essays, an air of nervous excitement has begun to fill the halls of North Arlington High School! During the course of the next few weeks, class advisors will reveal who is running for the high honor of King and Queen of the 2012/2013 Homecoming dance! In addition, the entire school will contribute to the coronation by voting for their favorite candidates.
Homecoming is not only a tradition; it is also an event that most students look forward to attending and having a good time with peers. As Amanda Awad stated, “Homecoming is always a fun distraction from the every day of school.” Sara Rozycki then chimed in by saying, “Seeing everyone get all dressed up is always nice to see too!” When the Class of 2013 president, Mackenzie Cutruzzula, was approached to give a comment on the dance, she too was excited. Mackenzie said, “We’ve booked a great DJ who is sure to play something for everyone. I’m sure it will be a wonderful time for everyone who attends.” The dance is sure to be a big success!
