On October 11th, 2012 lights shined bright all over the North Arlington High School gymnasium as students walked in all dressed up and ready to have a night to remember.
Homecoming is an enjoyable time for all of North Arlington High School students to get together from grades 9th through 12th and spend a few hours socializing and dancing with their classmates. Cara Dlugo stated, “I thought this year’s homecoming was a huge success and the set up for the gym looked beautiful this year!” Students from all grades participated in this event which allowed the Viking world to come together and have an evening filled with a ton of memories.
Seniors, especially, took full advantage of the 3 hours spent in the gym since this was their last time being able to attend the event as NAHS students. Amanda Awad mentioned, “This is our last year all together and the seniors should enjoy the time we still have together at North Arlington High School.” The homecoming court this year consisted of the following princes and princesses: Nicolette Zamora & Matthew Beyer, Melissa Gilmour & Michael Baloga, Mackenzie Cutruzzula & Jimmy Cedola. Former homecoming queen and king, Michael Antonelli & Megan Namnama handed the crown down to Frank Roman & Mary Smykowski who became our king and queen for this year. Overall, homecoming was a memorable night that students will remember for a long time.
