The annual sophomore semi-formal dance took place at the North Arlington Elks Lodge last month. Class advisors Ms. Giampaolo and Mr. Coughlin decided to make this year’s theme casino night. The Elks was all decorated to fit the casino theme. Ms. Giampaolo stated, “It was a night filled with dance, fun, and prizes!” There were games in which the sophomores had to guess the amount of candy and whoever was closest to the amount would win the prize, in addition, there were different prizes being raffled off at the end of the night.
Lisbeth Infante and Michael Cammett took the crown as our very own Lord and Lady Luck of the night which were voted by their fellow classmates. Faculty members of NAHS helped chaperone the event and NAHS senior Nick Reis, was the DJ for the event which made it very enjoyable and entertaining for the NAHS sophomore class. Ms. Giampaolo said, “The DJ played great songs and everyone truly enjoyed their time at the Elks.”
