On December 3, The National Honor Society Induction Dinner was held in the San Carlo Banquet Hall. At the dinner, new members of The National Honor Society were inducted into the group. These students were chosen because of the devoted work they do in the classroom and at home, their caring attitudes, and because they’re always striving to be the best. It’s truly a great feat to be recognized as a National Honor Society student, as it displays that all of the student’s hard work has paid off. The night began with speeches from students who are part of the executive board for The National Honor Society, and a speech from our superintendent, Dr. Stringham.
After everybody ate their dinner, the induction ceremony began. Each new inductee lit a candle, and they all lined up next to each other. Then, the new members recited an oath, and blew out the candles. At the end of the dinner, all of the members took a group photo. That marked the end of the night. Everybody in the banquet all had a proud smile on their face. Overall, the dinner was a memorable night.
