Class of 2018 Car Wash
To start the school year off, the Class of 2018 held a car wash fundraiser at the local fire house. From 10 AM to 2 PM, various seniors volunteers helped wash cars to raise money for upcoming senior activities. At the car wash, baked goods and water bottles were sold to satisfy the hunger and quench the thirst of the customers. With the temperature soaring to a record 92 degrees, cold water bottles were certainly a necessity! Certainly, the turnout was fantastic, as there was never a moment when the driveway wasn’t full of cars.
Truly, the Class of 2018 would like to extend our gratitude to anyone who came out and supported us during this fundraiser. It was extremely successful, as we raised $590.00. In addition, we would like to thank our hardworking advisors, Mrs. Hughes and Mrs. Albuquerque, for organizing this successful opportunity. Indeed, the work they’ve done for our class has been extraordinary! Along with our advisors, we would also like to thank the administration and fire department for allowing this to happen and for providing us with the facilities to have the car wash.
