NAHS sophomores enjoyed a Masquerade-themed night of fun at the Elks Club during their semi-formal. This memorable event was made possible by the meticulous planning and dedication of our class advisor, Mrs. Escobar. Her efforts, along with the gold and black decorations, illuminating string lights, and inflatable balloons, created a unique and vibrant atmosphere at the venue.
Students were provided with savory food and refreshing beverages. Students also donated tasty desserts, including a wide variety from cake pops to cupcakes! Gaby Churrango said that her favorite dessert was the very flavorful cookies. The DJ played catchy, popular songs and some throwbacks, which excited the students. In addition, many students enjoyed capturing their memories at the photo booth. Maria Gomes noted, “It was a fun night, and I loved taking pictures with my friends at the photo booth!”
Overall, the semi-formal was a great experience. Many students enjoyed attending, including Sophie Lasek, who thought the dance was enjoyable and appreciated the opportunity to enjoy a delightful evening with her friends. The semi-formal is a unique, memorable high school event that NAHS Sophomores were grateful to experience! In summary, students appreciated Mrs. Escobar and all the chaperones who put in the time and effort for this event, along with their dedication and planning.
