North Arlington High School students recently took a field trip to William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. Students toured the campus and were shown where everything was located. The first location presented was the dorms. The dorms are medium-sized with a shared bathroom. The dorm building is tranquil and settled, with many friendly people. Next, the visitors went to see the science building, where many labs are located, followed by the library. The library provides many valuable resources and study areas. The student center, located close to the library, provides even more. The student center has places to grab a soft drink or food, a store, many seating areas, and more!
After visiting the student center, students filled out a form about the tour and went for lunch. The cafeteria was vast, providing many different foods and being sensitive to anyone’s diet and allergies. Students could choose hamburgers, pizza, pasta, a sandwich, and various other options.
When lunch was over, students walked around campus for about 15 minutes. Many stopped at Starbucks, while others went to the school store.
Overall, the trip to William Paterson University was very informative! The school offers many programs including in person and many online classes and also has many fun activities which were observed on the front lawn of the student center.
