Megan Namnama is a well known student at North Arlington High school. She is involved in many extra-curricular activities and clubs, such as: Band, SADD, TriM (National Music Society), the National Honor Society, Peer Mediation, Drama and Chorus. Megan also plays basketball for the lady Vikings.
In band, Megan is better known as the drum major, usually found conducting the band. She is also the President of SADD, Secretary of TriM, Treasurer of the National Honor Society and the captain of the lady Vikings basketball team.
During her spare time, Megan loves to dance. She usually dances and volunteers at a church in Rutherford. She helps autistic children and works in the basketball league. When asked about a quote or motto, she mentioned the following: “Know what needs to be done, When it needs to be done, whether you want to do it or not” and “Eyes with pride” both from one of her inspirations – George N. Parks. One of Megan’s favorite movies is The Bridge to Terabithia. When asked about her favorite artist, she said, “The Beatles” and her favorite book is The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
Megan hopes to be accepted at Montclair State University so that she can major in Dance and minor in Special Education.
