Entering her senior year of high school, Vaidehi is ambitious to finish out strong. As a fantastic student academically, Vaidehi is currently in the fight for the top 3 spots in the ranking of the Class of 2014. Her favorite subject in school is math (all types of it). She is an active member of the National Honor Society, Drama Club, Chorus, and Student Council. She is also active physically which led to her 3 year commitment to the volleyball team. She decided not to play volleyball her senior year so she can focus on her academic work. Another one of her many talents is her passion for dance.
Vaidehi’s success in academics has given her many choices for deciding which college to attend in the fall. Her two main schools are Princeton and Rutgers. The reasoning for choosing these two fine institutions is due to their excellent pre-med programs. She would like to major in Biology to enhance her background for when she goes to medical school. As an inspiring young woman in society, Vaidehi was asked to represent our school in the Girls’ Career Institute program that was held at Rutgers. When asked about her experience there she replied, “It was a fabulous experience and I got to learn a lot as well as meet many interesting young women.” All in all, Vaidehi is excited to graduate and to begin her higher education journey.
