Let’s give a warm welcome to Ms. Alberti, who is joining the Viking family! This is Ms. Alberti’s first full year of teaching. She attended Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania. While attending the university, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education and Mathematics. Throughout her middle and high school experience, she was inspired to teach math with the great foundation provided by her teachers. This influenced her to help teach math to kids. She wanted to make people feel more comfortable with their math skills.
While speaking with her, she talked about how much she wanted to support her students. She mentioned wishing to bring out the level of “helping them feel more confident in their abilities.” In her spare time, she enjoys dancing. A fun fact that Ms. Alberti’s students would not know about her is that she has been dancing since she was two! Her love of dance even motivated her to work at a dance studio.
While talking with some of her students, they mentioned how much they enjoy having Ms. Alberti as a teacher. In Ms. Alberti’s Algebra 2 honors class, sophomore Claire Jiang notes, “Ms. Alberti takes her time to walk around and help students who are stuck on questions.” Another student of hers, choosing to remain anonymous, shares, “Ms. Alberti is a highly understanding teacher who considers her students’ needs whenever she is teaching. She is always willing to break down a lesson for you and go at the speed you need to reach your full potential.”
Isabella Gaibor, a sophomore who plays on the JV volleyball team, says, “Ms. Alberti has such great patience and always makes me smile, even when the class can get hard. She is always willing to sit down and fully explain things to ensure you understand. Thank you for all that you do, Ms. Alberti!”
Overall, the Vikings family is more than happy to welcome Ms. Alberti to NAHS!
