Robert Treanor is a musically talented senior at North Arlington High School. He can be listed with some of the best music students in the school’s history. He is a percussionist and has been in the N.A.H.S. marching band for 5 years and the concert band for 4 years. Robert has been playing drum set since the 7th grade and has excelled greatly in it, being in several bands in the past few years. “Drums are my life, and I love playing,” said Robert about his interest in drums. He has been practicing meticulously to get into William Paterson’s jazz program, which is one of the top programs in the country.
During his free time, he enjoys playing the drums, going to concerts and hanging out with friends. When asked what his favorite subject was Robert stated, “My favorite subject is history, and if I don’t become a professional jazz percussionist, I will most likely become a history teacher.” Robert is in the National Honor Society and the Tri-M International Music Honor Society. Robert is enjoying his last year at N.A.H.S. and expects the rest of the year to go smoothly.
